About The Position

The Director of FP&A will be a strategic financial leader responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical efforts for one or more of Telix’s business units. This role partners closely with executive leadership and department heads to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making, optimize financial performance, and ensure accountability across the organization. The Director will manage the FP&A team and is responsible for developing scalable processes and systems to support the company’s growth. This role requires a blend of hands-on analysis and high-level strategic guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance. Managerial experience is preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling and advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong experience with financial planning software (e.g., Workiva, OneStream) and large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite).
  • Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the comprehensive annual budgeting process, establishing targets, guidelines, and timelines in partnership with the executive team.
  • Manage the business unit’s long-range strategic financial planning (e.g., 3-5 year models) to support growth initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
  • Oversee the periodic financial forecasting process (e.g., monthly, quarterly reforecasts) to provide updated views on expected performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, to support business decisions and valuations.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance, focusing on key drivers, variances to plan, and historical trends.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reporting packages financial summaries that clearly articulate company performance and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing actionable insights into operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide insights showing the impact of changing business dynamics on operations and our financial performance
  • Lead the evaluation of new business initiatives, capital expenditure projects, and M&A opportunities through financial modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of integrity, accuracy, analytical rigor, and business partnership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, reporting capabilities, and systems (e.g., implementation or optimization of ERP/Planning software like One Stream, Workiva Adaptive Planning, or Anaplan).
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data used for planning and analysis.
  • Act as the primary financial liaison to various departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D).
