About The Position

The Director of Food and Nutrition Services is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe operation of all aspects of food service for the Health System; including the patient, cafeteria, and catering services. This position reviews, formulates, and implements policy and organizational changes, working within established guidelines and the mission of the John Muir Health System. This position is responsible for the following programs/teams: Food and Nutrition Services including dietary and retail services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Science or Food-related field - Required
  • Master's Degree - Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Related Field - Required
  • 5 - 7 years Food Services - Healthcare Management - Required
  • Serv Safe Certification - ServSafe - Required
  • CDM Certified Dietary Manager - ANFP Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals - Required

Nice To Haves

  • 5 - 7 years Management - Director Position - Preferred
