About The Position

The Director, Reporting COE – Service Delivery is a key contributor within the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) FP&A Service Delivery organization and a core member of the NAOU Reporting Center of Excellence (COE). This role partners closely with the Senior Director, Reporting COE Lead, to design, build, and deliver standardized, high-quality reporting and insights across NAOU and all RTMs and Orgs, while maintaining alignment with global FP&A standards. The Director, Reporting COE role will play a hands-on role in simplifying, modernizing, and upgrading FP&A reporting, helping unify performance narratives and enable a holistic view of NAOU financial performance. This role combines strong financial acumen with reporting, analytics, and technology capabilities to shift reporting away from manual, fragmented outputs toward scalable, insight-driven performance management. The role reports directly to the Senior Director, Reporting COE Lead – Service Delivery and collaborates closely with Finance partners, the Data, Analytics, and Reporting team, and the Managed Service Provider (MSP). The position is accountable for the accuracy, consistency, and usability of reporting deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related business or quantitative discipline required
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, management reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or performance management.
  • Strong experience developing and managing financial reports, dashboards, or performance metrics in a complex environment.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and financial systems, with experience building scalable, repeatable reporting solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across teams, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and compelling narratives.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Curiosity and learning agility, with a continuous improvement mindset and interest in modern FP&A and reporting capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification (MBA, MS, CPA, CMA) a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation and advanced analytics concepts; exposure to AI-enabled reporting or analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership Support the establishment and ongoing execution of the NAOU Reporting COE vision, operating model, and reporting standards.
  • Partner with the Reporting COE Lead to translate strategy and priorities into executable reporting solutions and deliverables.
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives by participating in pilots and rollouts of enhanced reporting and performance management capabilities (e.g., TFS and other new solutions).
  • Stay current on reporting trends, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools, bringing forward ideas and opportunities to improve insight generation.
  • Operational & Performance Reporting Develop, maintain, and enhance standardized FP&A reports, dashboards, and performance views used by NAOU and RTM/Org leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs, supporting a single source of truth for performance management.
  • Assist in defining and documenting standard metrics, hierarchies, assumptions, and narratives across reporting deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of disciplined review cadences and executive-ready dashboards focused on actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data issues, improve data quality, and streamline reporting processes end-to-end.
  • Transformation, Automation, & Productivity Leadership Execute reporting transformation initiatives by supporting standardization, simplification, and automation of recurring reporting activities.
  • Leverage Power BI and related tools to build scalable, reusable dashboards and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Assist in deploying AI-enabled analytics capabilities (e.g., variance drivers, trend analysis, anomaly detection) to accelerate insight generation.
  • Partner with the MSP to transition repeatable reporting tasks efficiently, while retaining ownership of quality and outcomes.
  • Governance, Controls & Documentation Adhere to established governance, controls, and documentation standards for FP&A reporting.
  • Maintain clear documentation of reporting logic, data sources, assumptions, and methodologies to support transparency and audit readiness.
  • Support compliance with corporate and OU financial policies and reporting standards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication Partner with NAOU Finance stakeholders, Planning & Industry Insights, Competitive Analysis, and Data teams to ensure reporting meets business needs.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, concise narrative frameworks suitable for senior leadership consumption.
  • Represent the Reporting COE in working sessions, project teams, and cross-functional forums as needed.
