This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing global clinical operations across multiple therapeutic platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; PMP certification preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including 8+ years leading global clinical development teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to achieve strategic goals
  • Deep knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical research projects
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; fluent in English
  • Advanced project management capabilities, including risk management, performance monitoring, and problem-solving
  • Strategic thinker capable of managing ambiguity in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and talent development

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage clinical operations across one or more therapeutic platforms, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with program goals
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal departments, external vendors, and global partners to achieve operational objectives
  • Develop portfolio-level oversight documents, SOPs, and process frameworks to standardize and streamline operations
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP guidelines, and internal procedures, including staff training and compliance
  • Provide operational input on feasibility studies, timelines, and cost planning for clinical programs
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational challenges, delivering innovative solutions and mitigating risks
  • Oversee resource allocation, forecasting, and team development including recruitment, mentoring, and performance management
