Job Summary The Director of Products, Programs, Application Engineering, and Lab Services is responsible for the development, implementation, and launch of products globally. The position requires general management experience with proven record of accomplishment in product engineering, program management, and operations roles in a mix of local and international positions. The role also requires experience with matrixed organizations to support the execution of operations, acquisitions and manufacturing plans. The Director of Products, Programs, Application Engineering, and Lab Services will have to work in concert with Corporate Growth Leaders to identify opportunities, build business plans and drive an aggressive execution strategy. The leader needs to be dynamic, able to work across cultures and willing to take action in order to get things done while modeling Alkegen’s Values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Development: Support the Commercial Teams with the development and execution of the strategic plan for products and programs, translating the plan into actionable monthly, quarterly and yearly implementation plans. Incorporate a strong understanding of the external environment and competitors, actively scanning for threats to the established business while identifying trends to develop creative solutions to customer needs. Sales Execution and Growth: Direct the development, review and approval of product and program launches, operations and profit plans. Ensure such plans are integrated into the overall master plan to maximize profits, yields on invested capital and earnings. Review and analyze the performance of different product and program launches, and their leaders to establish proper measures of performance. Coach local teams on execution of launches and provide direction for contingency plans when necessary. Accomplish budgetary expectations (Sales, EBITDA, Cash Flow) and support development of sales channel, market segmentation and price strategy to drive growth. Leadership: Build a highly engaged organization through hiring, training, developing and retaining high performance leaders. Develop management and supervisory talents necessary to obtain short and long terms goals by effectively directing, counseling, and training aligned with overall succession plan. Make required changes in talent to drive change and growth. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Engineering, Program Management, or Operations with proven record of high performance. Mix of international, regional or global experience. Direct management of people and teams. Design and release of products. Proven program and product launch leadership and financial acumen. Technical Degree preferred, MBA preferred.
