About The Position

The Director, Information Technology (IT) provides strategic and operational leadership for all enterprise technology systems, services, and infrastructure. This role leads the IT function to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology that supports organizational goals. The Director, IT oversees IT strategy, system performance, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, application lifecycle management, and a high-performing IT team dedicated to exceptional internal support.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Management Information Systems required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience, including progressively responsible roles supporting enterprise systems, infrastructure, or application environments required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience required.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise IT operations, technology roadmaps, and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure technologies (e.g., Windows Server Clustering, Microsoft Hyper-V, data storage systems).
  • Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Server administration.
  • Experience with managing software and network licensing environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PDM) systems, SolidWorks, or engineering-related applications preferred.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., PLEX, Salesforce, Jira) preferred.
  • Knowledge of network security and architecture, including Fortinet devices preferred.
  • Data analytics experience with Business Intelligence tools and platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manager the IT team, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and a culture of service excellence.
  • Direct all IT operations including system analysis, technical support, application development, data base administration, telecommunications, and infrastructure management.
  • Establish and execute and enterprise IT strategy aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring scalable and future-ready solutions.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, implementation, and optimization of hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, controls and standards related to security, data integrity, legal compliance, and system governance.
  • Lead enterprise cybersecurity programs, including security architecture, user access control, threat mitigation, disaster recovery, and security awareness.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand needs and deliver technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, capital planning, asset management, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure high-availability, performance, and reliability across all IT systems and operations.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
