About The Position

This role will serve in a dual capacity combining Investor Relations leadership with Corporate Project Ownership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, IB, or PE portfolio operations.
  • Experience with financing/refinancing transactions and sponsor/lender engagement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; mastery in executive storytelling.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities; ability to influence without authority.
  • Unwavering confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Enterprise-level strategic thinking; ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with the CFO, develops and manages Maker’s Pride’s capital-markets narrative for shareholders, lenders, and financial partners.
  • Maintains structured sponsor/lender communication cadences, including quarterly updates and site visits.
  • Lead the full strategic planning and execution of the company’s Investor Day, including long range narrative development, cross functional content creation, executive and functional leader preparation, speaker coaching, logistics coordination, and day of orchestration to ensure a cohesive, compelling, and enterprise aligned presentation of the company’s vision, performance, and long term value creation strategy.
  • Builds IR operating system: KPI dashboards, narrative frameworks, investor FAQs, peer/market intelligence.
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment of all external financial messaging.
  • Tracks and maintains peer and customer financial performance benchmarking
  • Supports CFO on all financing/refinancing activities (ABL, term loans, private placements). including acting as lead point of contact for communications with ratings agencies, preparation of materials with banking partners
  • Carries out regular corporate return on capital assessments for review by Board and Audit Committee including strategic sues of company funds such as share buybacks, returns of capital, debt paydown using appropriate KPIs and benchmarking
  • Supports CEO and CFO on strategic M&A analyses and other relevant corporate projects as needed (eg carve-out, IPO preparation) including reviews of target companies, working with investment banks and other advisors
  • Supports cross-functionally on other major corporate projects as needed, including working with Strategy function ensuring consistency of approach
  • Owns development of Board materials, including storyline, analytics, presentation development, and Q&A preparation.
  • Crafts high-impact executive presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Ensures consistent messaging across Board, sponsor/lender, and senior leadership communications.
  • Lead weekly CEO agenda: prioritization, preparation, strategic alignment.
  • Manage content, agendas, and follow-ups for weekly ELT meetings.
  • Partner with Director of Communications and ELT on MPLT content and strategic communication forums.
  • Coordinate Town Halls and enterprise-wide communication alignment.
  • Act as strategic integrator across workstreams, ensuring alignment of priorities and execution.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to CF O, providing objective insight and maintaining strict confidentiality.
