About The Position

The Director of IT Engineering leads the IT engineering teams and drive the development of cutting-edge technology solutions. This role oversees system architecture, manage large-scale projects, and ensure the successful delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable IT systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience engineering or software development, 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
Deep understanding of software development life cycle, system architecture, and cloud platforms
Experience with modern development practices, including DevOps, microservices and containerization
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance, and data governance
Experience with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies
Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-stakeholders

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the IT engineering vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals
Define and maintain the architecture for enterprise IT systems to ensure scalability, performance, and security
Ensure the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient IT systems and infrastructure
Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and risk mitigation strategies
Implement robust processes for system monitoring, incident response and disaster recovery
Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and technology partners
Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement technical solutions that meet business needs
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, system architects, and IT professionals
Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology investments and initiatives
