About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to define and lead the implementation of both strategic and tactical software solutions. Leverage tech stack to innovate and improve upon the at Work platform. Document various project milestones including technical requirements, program designs, task descriptions, effort estimates, and integration tests. Embrace agile development methodologies to solve complex problems with a diverse, global team. Partner with Product Management, QA, and UX to deliver increased value to customers. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

• Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
• Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a closely related occupation.
• Requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Core Java including Concurrency, Multithreading, JVM tuning, Collections, and Data Structures Oracle Virtual Private Database PL/SQL Kafka Spring including Core, boot, security, JDBC, transactions, and AOP Python Jenkins React Hibernate Log4j Splunk Kibana GIT and SVN WebLogic Perl Shell Script Linux
