About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Director, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional and Over the Counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and handles complex and/or escalated issues. The Director, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment. The Director, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution resolves problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes. Analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development. May contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system. Complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8 or more years of Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing Experience required
• 5 or more years of management experience
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
• May be required to have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy depending upon state rules and regulations

Nice To Haves

• National Certification, PTCB CphT or Active Pharmacist License in Resident State (AZ, FL, OH, or TX)
• Six Sigma Certification
• Previous supervisory experience
