As Director, Marketing – Residential Care Software (MatrixCare), you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that spans the entire customer lifecycle—from awareness through to advocacy. You will lead a talented team, collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams, and play a key role in driving the company’s growth and market position. This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with executive leadership to shape the marketing vision and ensure all initiatives align with our company’s goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across the full funnel, from brand awareness and lead generation to customer engagement and retention.
  • Partner closely with product, sales and other stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement tools that highlight the value of our solutions to our target audiences.
  • Lead the strategic development of effective lead generation campaigns to build a strong sales pipeline, ensuring quality and quantity of opportunities across all channels.
  • Develop a strategy to maximize the ROI for user conferences, industry and state events based on lead generation & customer retention goals.
  • Collaborate with the customer success and product teams to create retention programs that engage existing clients, upsell new features, and promote customer advocacy.
  • Leverage analytics tools and data insights to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, measure ROI, and continuously optimize performance.
  • Provide regular reporting on key metrics and KPIs to leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to ensure all team members reach their full potential.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and create a seamless customer experience from acquisition to retention.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations to large audiences.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing with deep experience in SaaS marketing with a strong preference for experience in healthcare and/or EHRs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of management experience leading & developing marketing teams, managing budgets, and delivering business results.
  • Proven experience developing & executing marketing strategies to achieve key metrics throughout the entire marketing funnel (lead generation to customer retention).
  • Experience partnering with product, sales and other stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement tools that highlight the value of our solutions to our target audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and communicate insights, driving strategic adjustments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in executive messaging and team leadership.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and driving projects using a shared services model.
  • Ability to travel < 20%
