About the position

Join us as we expand our cutting-edge Oncology marketing organization. This individual will drive launch preparations in the US, a top priority asset for BMS, including the development of strategy & messaging, cross-functional plans, segmentation & targeting as well as insight generation. The individual will work closely with, mentor and develop other junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy development for brand launch.
  • Lead channel strategy and plan development considering business objectives, patient journey, patient/HCP dynamics, clinical trial data and market dynamics.
  • Lead development of core messaging for HCP segments.
  • Lead development of Media plans (mass media, digital, targeted), working closely with Media Agency and Media Hub.
  • Lead budget prioritization across commercial functions.
  • Develop and implement local business plans in collaboration with regional business directors (RBDs), regional and local congress/scientific meeting planning and thought leader engagement nationally and regionally.
  • Ensure successful and timely execution of plans and tactics.
  • Develop robust measurement, evaluation, and optimization plans and tactics.
  • Manage budget effectively.
  • Lead matrix team and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with medical and MAx to pull through strategy across all channels.
  • Partner with OCS and WCE team to develop stakeholder engagement plans (branded & unbranded).
  • Ensure strong alignment of CART marketing strategy and plans to bolster BMS’ MM Franchise.
  • Lead planning with Market Research and Business Analytics teams to drive timely analysis and competitive assessments.
  • Develop and grow junior members of the Marketing Team.
  • Participate in overall Oncology Marketing talent management discussions and initiatives.
  • Work closely with leadership to drive overall culture in US Oncology Marketing.
  • Conduct and ensure compliance with BMS’s values, policies, SOPs, and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • BA degree or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant marketing brand management experience or equivalent.
  • Experience launching products in the US or internationally strongly preferred, particularly in Oncology.
  • Experience managing, executing, and evaluating media (including mass media, digital, and targeted channels).
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams to accomplish specific objectives and goals.
  • Experience in managing external resources and partners, including Advertising agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience using primary and secondary market research to identify insights to inform strategy, messaging, and creative development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • US Market Experience preferred.
