About The Position
Gainesville Health and Rehab Center, is looking for a dynamic Activities Director Assistant to develop, plan, and lead entertaining and enriching activities. What is my primary role? Develop, lead, and encourage participation in fun and enriching activities Plan community outings for the patients and residents Build and lead the activities team including assistants, volunteers, and students Develop caring relationships Come work in a safe environment and be part of a team that is driven by our mission: to provide peace of mind to those we care for: our patients, residents, families and staff. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Therapeutic recreation specialist certification or eligible activities professional
- A caring heart and desire to make a difference
- A valid Virginia driver’s license and Virginia CDL driver’s license, if applicable
Nice To Haves
- Experience directing individual and group activities preferred
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred
