You will report directly to the President, giving you the authority, resources, and strategic visibility to build an AI function from the ground up. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience implementing AI, automation, or digital transformation tools.
• A strong ability to analyze workflows and translate them into AI opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI platforms (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) and automation tools (Make, Zapier, Power Automate).
• Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining complex concepts to different audiences.
• Disciplined project management and a proactive, accountable working style.
• Strong business judgment with a focus on ROI and adoption.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field - or the practical experience to match.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with platforms like Innergy, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam, or Sage is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify High‑Value AI Opportunities You'll dive deep into each of our six companies to uncover the most impactful AI and automation opportunities in operations, sales, estimating, project management, HR, and marketing. You'll analyze processes, evaluate ROI, and determine where AI can move the needle fastest.
• Lead Implementation & Integration Once opportunities are identified, you'll bring them to life. You'll guide end‑to‑end implementation, collaborate with department heads and frontline teams, select and manage vendors, and build internal automations using platforms like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Make, Zapier, and more.
• Enhance Marketing & Business Development You'll improve how our companies are discovered and perceived in the market through AI‑driven SEO, content generation, competitive intelligence, and project research. You'll help elevate our brand presence with AI‑enhanced capabilities decks, case studies, and client-facing materials.
• Streamline Operations & Boost Efficiency Across estimating, project management, purchasing, HR, and production, you'll identify manual processes that can be automated or optimized. You'll bring document intelligence to RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project documentation, and explore AI tools for planning, scheduling, and quality control.
• Build AI Literacy & a Culture of Innovation You'll design and deliver practical training sessions, champion early wins, and serve as the internal resource for all things AI - helping the organization build confidence and momentum.
• Drive Reporting, Governance & Strategy You'll keep ownership updated with clear metrics, performance insights, and a forward-looking roadmap - always with an eye on ethics, data privacy, and security.
