About The Position

Life.Church wants to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world. Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's how we’re able to make a difference, and it's the driving force behind everything we do. The Director of Central Volunteers is primarily responsible for leading and developing a large team of volunteer leaders who support central ministry volunteer needs and opportunities. This role provides strategic leadership for recruiting, equipping, and caring for volunteers and volunteer leaders who serve Central and YouVersion teams. The Director builds systems and leadership structures that help volunteers thrive, ensures ministry teams are supported with the right volunteers for events and projects, and fosters community within the volunteer network. This role also oversees volunteer coordination for major central events, including Family Reunion and other Edmond-based initiatives. The Director is responsible for collaborating with their CTL/CML to cast vision, provide direction, and lead ministry efforts within their area of influence to outcomes that further Life.Church’s mission and reach people for Christ. At Life.Church, we exist to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. It’s been our mission since 1996 and has guided us every day. Leading people isn’t just an expectation; it’s a necessity. It’s a cornerstone of our culture. That's why we’re always seeking leaders—leaders like you—to bring your skills to life.
