About The Position

Manage the admissions, alumni, and philanthropy engagement team. Direct reports include the following: Senior Manager of Philanthropy & Engagement, Manager of Alumni and Special Events, Director of High School Admissions, Director of Grade School Admissions, and Coordinator of Engagement. Lead the team in executing the strategy set forth in annual planning meetings, aligned to annual goals and budgets. Consistently track goals and progress on key metrics tied to team and organization-wide goals. Analyze data for the team that not only tracks progress, but also helps identify opportunities, gaps, and can ultimately help inform strategy. Ability to meet deadlines and goals, while balancing and managing multiple competing priorities across teams. Ability to motivate, inspire and develop team members. Support in-person events across the teams, which are on a rotational basis, and can occur in evenings and weekends. Support in admissions by communicating the value add of a Sion education through tours and middle school visits. Serve as a liaison with parent Alliance representing the team. Develop and execute the long-term strategy for parent engagement in partnership with school administration.

Requirements

  • 5 + years prior experience in community outreach, experience in non-profit and/or education preferred
  • Experience managing and developing teams.
  • Project management experience across varying teams and/or departments
  • Proficient use of Google suite, including sheets, forms, and documents required
  • Experience with CRM or project management tool required; experience with Blackbaud preferred
  • Strong relationship building and presentation skills
  • Clear understanding and strong commitment to the school’s mission
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business, communication, non-profit or related field.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during events and meetings.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment up to 25 pounds (e.g., event supplies).
  • Visual and auditory acuity to interact effectively in person and via technology.
  • Ability to drive or travel locally for community events and meetings.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching during event setup or office tasks.
