About the position

The Director of Corporate Marketing is responsible for developing the strategy, framework, policy and procedures to drive omni-channel lead generation, within assigned budgets. This will include defining business requirements on Growth Marketing initiatives in the form of epics, user stories, and process flows, building relationships with various business stakeholders, understanding business priorities, and obtaining the necessary project funding for project execution. The position would generally be responsible for managing 2-5 direct reports and will partner with cross-functional business stakeholders to define growth marketing omni-channel strategy. It has accountability for product and channel success with the other parts of the Marketing Demand Generation Teams, including Marketing Orchestration and Marketing Execution Teams. The Director must therefore have a strong understanding of the vacation ownership business and be able to translate business strategy into omni-channel requirements including digital requirements for websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall planning and prioritization of marketing efforts on MVW websites and Partnership websites.
  • Manage third-party related marketing efforts and digital channels.
  • Oversee onsite digital capture and affinity-related marketing efforts.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies, user stories, business requirements, and expected performance proformas for assigned products/channels/campaigns.
  • Create epics and user stories for prioritization, sprint planning, development, and production support.
  • Establish procedures to ensure artifacts are stored in the Product Backlog.
  • Accountable for KPIs associated with assigned products/channels/campaigns.
  • Liaise with AVP Marketing to establish the annual budget for assigned products/channels/campaigns.
  • Contribute to the Orchestration process by providing documentation and input into project prioritization.
  • Provide a data-informed point-of-view and clear plan for marketing mix and yield management.
  • Attend M&S Execution meetings to understand development progress and act as arbiter for feature questions.
  • Provide acceptance criteria for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review UAT plans.
  • Analyze data and analytics from assigned products/channels/campaigns to create lead generation plans.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to communicate products/channels/campaigns benefits and strategies.
  • Manage, develop, and hire talent for the specialty team.
  • Ensure productive working relationships with internal business partners, external consultants, and vendors.

Requirements

  • College degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Digital, Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or 3+ years’ experience in related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ functional experience within Sales and Marketing.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience with MVW or Industry competitor; Timeshare product knowledge and experience an advantage.
  • 6 – 8 years of Digital experience required.
  • 6 to 8 years of omni-channel marketing experience required.
  • 3 – 5 years of product/channel management experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding and command of digital software development tools including creation of user stories and backlog management.
  • Proven track record of sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations.
  • Demonstrable passion for producing outstanding work, delivered on time and on budget.
  • Expert knowledge in project management and implementation.
  • Superior communication skills to effectively report to end users and senior management.
