With input in all phases of the construction project, the Director of Field Operations - Grocery will lead the General Superintendent / Superintendent team(s) to ensure consistent delivery of quality projects while surpassing customers’ expectations. The role will engage with Business Development, Estimating, and Project Management efforts throughout the project life cycle, from early opportunity through closeout. The role is to manage the Grocery General Superintendent team and reviews. It assists in reviewing bid documents and original project budgets for constructability and profitability. Assists in the day-to-day execution of all Grocery projects, including any emergencies, work delays, and other issues that may affect the completion of the project. In addition, the Director of Field Operations is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective customers. Oversees field personnel and their assigned construction projects. Assists in developing schedules with superintendents to meet the client turnover dates. Responsible for reviewing project schedules and ensuring all project milestones are achieved. Ensures projects stay on budget by reducing general cost overruns, lowering average punch list items, and improving contractual job completion dates. The Director of Field Operations is to ensure the work is completed to the company's and the client's highest building standards.
