About The Position
Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is a hospital organization located in the Eastern Region of Puerto Rico, providing comprehensive medical services. The organization is part of an integrated system with a strong focus on outpatient care, maternal-child services, and community health. They are currently seeking a Director of Finance. The Director of Finance leads the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and oversees all finance functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience
- Healthcare or hospital industry experience required
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic skills
- Budget performance
- Operating margins
- AR Days and cash flow
- Audit and compliance results
Nice To Haves
- MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal controls
- Monitor financial performance and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Manage revenue cycle, cash flow, and financial risks
- Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis
- Lead and develop the finance team
