About The Position

Archer Meat Snacks—the #1 jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel—is hiring a Director of Logistics & Customer Operations to lead the end-to-end movement of goods across our national supply network. Based in our Vernon, CA facility, this role will oversee logistics operations across our manufacturing plants, co-manufacturing partners, and national 3PL warehouse network while ensuring best-in-class service to our retail partners. This role sits at the center of our operational engine. You will lead freight strategy, inventory coordination, and order fulfillment while managing the team responsible for customer order processing and retailer compliance. Working closely with plant leadership, sales operations, finance, and external partners, you’ll drive efficiency, improve service levels, and ensure our products move seamlessly from production to shelf. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations within CPG or food & beverage manufacturing
  • Experience managing complex supply networks including internal plants, co-manufacturers, and 3PL partners
  • Deep knowledge of freight management, transportation strategy, and carrier negotiations
  • Strong understanding of retailer compliance requirements, routing guides, and order fulfillment processes
  • Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and EDI order flows
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and partner closely with manufacturing operations
  • Strategic thinker who can optimize logistics networks while remaining hands-on in execution
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage high-performing operational teams

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics network supporting Archer’s manufacturing plants, co-manufacturers, and national distribution partners
  • Manage logistics and inventory coordination across Vernon and San Bernardino manufacturing facilities
  • Lead relationships and performance management for all 3PL warehouse providers and co-manufacturing partners
  • Develop and optimize freight strategy across inbound and outbound transportation to balance cost, speed, and service levels
  • Ensure retailer routing guide compliance and shipping accuracy for key national accounts
  • Own inventory accuracy and coordination across all internal and external nodes within the supply network
  • Partner with plant leadership to manage transfer orders and maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Lead the Customer Service and Order Operations team responsible for processing and managing all customer orders
  • Oversee EDI order flows, retailer documentation requirements, and shipment confirmations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support growth and operational scalability
  • Drive operational KPIs across logistics performance, service levels, freight costs, and inventory integrity
