Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Engineering or Operations leadership, with a proven track record of scaling operations in high-growth environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills with an affinity for mentoring and developing others
  • Able to listen, influence, coach, and train on safe operating behaviors.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep background in material or chemical manufacturing operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Team Growth Lead and grow a high-performing manufacturing organization, cultivating a culture of excellence and high urgency
  • Hire, mentor, and advocate for talent. Use a high-accountability coaching model to challenge the team to improve, navigate roadblocks, and celebrate wins.
  • Ensure every team member understands their impact on the company’s success, fostering a feedback-rich environment that flows both ways.
  • Operational Excellence & Initiative Drive a culture of continuous improvement; take the initiative to identify bottlenecks and implement proactive improvements before they impact throughput.
  • Oversee improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing implementation, Theory of Constraints (ToC), and optimized material flow.
  • Inject learning model’s into the organization to automate and improve fault response.
  • Advance the capabilities of the Manufacturing Execution System and ERP.
  • Partner with Finance to tighten inventory control, report accurate COGS, and eliminate variances.
  • Technology Transfer Build the processes and infrastructure to support the organization as our Technology Transfer function.
  • Masterfully "walk the line" between rigid process standardization for safety/quality and the flexibility required to support ongoing Research & Development.
  • Provide high-level support for process monitoring and development, ensuring that experimental workflows can coexist with production demands without compromising safety or data integrity.
