Job Description The Retina HCP Professional and Facility Marketing Director reports to the Head of Marketing, US Retina. The Director leads a Retina marketing team, including oversight of direct reports who will support the development of the go-to-market plan. They will serve as the brand champion for a new Retina program and work with the cross functional team to build the launch strategy and go to market plan. This key leadership role will set strategic direction and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans targeting healthcare providers, ambulatory surgery centers, hospital outpatient surgical centers, healthcare decision makers, and practice administrators. The position requires deep knowledge of market drivers, competitive landscape, provider and stakeholder dynamics, and the ability to translate local business insights into actionable strategies for optimal brand performance. Responsibilities include building Commercial go to market plan, leading launch readiness reviews with AbbVie leadership, and working with external partners to design and implement the distribution and pricing model for this new Retina product. The role demands proactive problem solving, creative solution development, and strict adherence to AbbVie policies and regulatory standards.
