About the position
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Marketing who will lead all marketing efforts for our portfolio, including brand strategy, digital marketing, public relations, and partnerships. This role is ideal for a creative and analytical leader with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and a passion for storytelling that inspires travel. As part of the CoralTree Residence Collection, you’ll join a company known for managing premium and luxury residential properties, vacation homes, and resorts. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading and growing our marketing efforts across our Hawaii-based vacation rental and resort properties. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies to promote our portfolio of residential resorts and premium vacation rentals in Hawaii. This individual will be a key brand steward and strategic leader, combining digital marketing savvy with storytelling and destination appeal to reach travelers from across the globe. The Director of Marketing position will office in Kihei, Maui. The salary is $105,000-$120,000 plus bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Development of our marketing efforts
- Contributing forward-thinking marketing ideas that strengthen brand equity and generate bookings.
- Supporting the guest and owner experience communication and community engagement
- Mentoring direct reports, providing feedback, coaching, performance goals, and growth opportunities and ensure continuous improvement.
- Overseeing content creation including management of photography, video and social media
- Analyzing and reporting marketing performance and campaign ROI
- Managing multiple websites to include redesign, content refresh and strategies to drive optimization
- Implementing Digital advertising marketing strategies with support from agency
- Creating compelling email marketing to drive leisure business
- Ensuring high-quality and up-to-date content across all distribution channels
- Managing the marketing plan and budget with accuracy and foresight, ensuring spend aligns with business goals
- Collaborate with business development team members to grow the inventory in the market
- Creating and managing collateral
- Staying informed on Hawaii tourism trends, traveler behavior, and relevant regulatory changes
- Supporting operational leaders with their marketing needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in luxury travel, vacation rentals, or resort hospitality.
- Strong understanding of the Hawaii travel market and seasonal business cycles.
- Demonstrated success in digital marketing, branding, Public Relations, and content development.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Passion for travel, hospitality, and the Hawaiian sense of place.
- Demonstrates a high level of skills in the areas of diplomacy, problem solving, and relationship building.
