While paid media performance is your primary focus, you understand how advertising connects to the broader brand story. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns support key brand moments, promotions, and growth initiatives. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or media leadership roles, including managing large media budgets and external agency partners.
  • Strong analytical rigor and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate performance, optimize media investment, and drive efficiency against key metrics such as ROAS and CPA.
  • Deep understanding of digital trafficking, tagging, attribution, and campaign deployment processes, with experience improving reporting transparency and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven paid media strategies across digital, social, search, video, and emerging platforms that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading and holding agency partners accountable, establishing clear expectations, performance standards, and collaborative working relationships.
  • Ability to connect performance marketing initiatives with broader brand strategy, ensuring paid media supports key campaigns, promotions, and brand initiatives.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while performing computer-based work and communicating via phone and Microsoft Teams, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Owning national paid media strategy across national, regional, and local markets spanning digital, social, search, video, and emerging platforms.
  • Managing agency relationships with clear performance expectations, accountability, and ongoing collaboration.
  • Overseeing media budget allocation and continuously optimizing spend to maximize performance.
  • Improving testing frameworks, creative rotation strategies, and performance tracking methodologies.
  • Ensuring accurate trafficking, tagging, and campaign deployment processes across all channels.
  • Partnering with executive leadership to establish KPI frameworks tied to traffic, memberships, birthday parties, and promotional outcomes.
  • Improving transparency, consistency, and rigor in performance reporting.
  • Identifying optimization opportunities to strengthen ROAS, CPA, and overall media efficiency.
  • Partnering with media agencies, creative partners, and internal teams to ensure paid media assets are designed for channel effectiveness.
  • Leading structured creative testing across formats, messaging, and offer positioning.
  • Reducing creative fatigue while improving prospecting performance and audience engagement.
  • Ensuring paid media supports key brand tentpoles, seasonal initiatives, and limited-time offers.
  • Collaborating with Marketing Operations and Field Marketing to ensure cohesive campaign activation.
  • Providing strategic input into channel mix decisions tied to major campaigns.
