About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy (PIC) for an interim assignment at a hospital in Clewiston, FL. This role will provide pharmacy leadership, oversee daily operations, and support regulatory readiness and compliance. Assignment Details Start: Training begins April 1 PIC Coverage: Starting April 6, ongoing until permanent hire Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am – 4:30/5:00pm No weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
- Florida Consultant Pharmacist License required
- Minimum 3+ years of pharmacy management experience
- Strong inpatient hospital experience required
- Experience with IV compounding and regulatory/compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Pharmacy leadership and oversight
- Regulatory and compliance support
- Preparation for accreditation and inspections
- Clinical and operational support as needed
- Collaboration with pharmacy staff and hospital leadership
