The Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships serves as the Director of Jobs to Move America’s development department advancing organizational goals through strategic direction, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is responsible for developing and implementing key initiatives aligned with Jobs to Move America’s mission and strategic plan, while building organizational capacity, supervising staff, and managing stakeholder relationships. This role plays a critical part in shaping impact, developing people, and sustaining strong internal systems and external partnerships. The Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships leads the development and execution of an annual fund development plan that aligns with JMA’s strategic priorities. This position ensures the organization has the resources and systems necessary to sustain and grow its impact. The role involves close collaboration with the executive leadership to set goals and identify appropriate strategies to ensure revenue is diverse and sustainable. This position requires deep knowledge of JMA’s mission, goals, and regional campaigns to develop solutions, anticipate problems, and course-correct when needed.
