About The Position

DiStefano Brothers Construction is seeking a Director of Preconstruction, Sales & Design to lead our team as a local construction leader. Our mission is to seamlessly merge architecture, design, and construction through a client-focused approach, specializing in renovations, ground-up builds, and light commercial projects. You will shape how we win work, manage risk, and protect profitability, ensuring complete alignment from the first client contact through estimating and the transition into field operations. Key Objectives: Revenue growth and sales performance Design excellence and constructability alignment Budget accuracy and margin protection Risk mitigation prior to construction Seamless handoff into field execution Unified leadership across all front-end departments

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in residential construction
  • 5+ years managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven experience overseeing sales, design, and pre-construction functions
  • Strong financial acumen and P&L understanding
  • Experience with Design-Build and negotiated delivery models
  • Executive-level communication and leadership presence
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required for exceptional candidates
