We are seeking a Director of Product Design with a deep passion for crafting exceptional user experiences to shape our Digital Storefront and Guest Marketing product suites. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading design, strategy, and vision across the organization; fundamentally you'll help restaurants bring more guests to their restaurants more often using tools that represent their unique version of hospitality. Your work will span across traditional product led growth initiatives, as well as core guest surfaces and new 0-1 product experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, accessible, and engaging solutions that meet user needs and drive business growth.

  • Coach team members to continually improve their craft and deliver an exceptional experience.
  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions and continuously improve product experiences.
  • Use design to drive critical business metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

  • A proactive, outcome-oriented design leader with 7+ years experience partnering with product, engineering, and marketing to understand users, translating that understanding into strategy that drives customer and business outcomes.
  • Ability to see around corners, responding to the present and seeing the future to lead the team to create intuitive experiences across responsive web and native mobile platforms.
  • Possess an enduring sense of curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and evolve.
  • Regularly conduct design reviews to obtain feedback, iterating on the designs to improve results.
  • Have a growth mindset - see challenges as opportunities, believe feedback is a gift and can speak confidently to the why.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible).
  • Equity.
  • Flexible benefits to meet changing needs.
