Director of Product Management: Hybrid Deployments, MuleSoft

About the position

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Product Management for Hybrid Deployments to join the MuleSoft team. This role is crucial in leading the strategic vision, execution, and success of our Kubernetes-based hybrid deployment offering, Runtime Fabric (RTF). The successful candidate will define the long-term product roadmap, ensure operational excellence across deployment models, and drive seamless customer onboarding to modern platforms. The position involves collaborating with various teams to enhance platform capabilities and contribute to customer adoption and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the comprehensive product strategy for RTF.
• Directly own and drive the execution of RTF Platform initiatives.
• Proactively identify and prioritize product improvements based on customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical writing teams to develop compelling narratives and documentation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with MuleSoft customers to ensure product support and expansion.
• Demonstrate industry thought leadership through presentations and engagements.
• Ensure compliance with security, data management, and regulatory processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years in product management and technical leadership.
• At least 6 years in a leadership role managing significant product areas or teams.
• Deep technical expertise in Kubernetes and experience with complex workloads.
• Strong public cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS, IBM, etc.).
• Proven experience in translating market needs into actionable product requirements.
• Deep knowledge of agile software development practices.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
• Ability to influence and deliver results in global, matrixed environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 10-20% of the time.
