About The Position

Velsera is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Product Management to lead our flagship Clinical Genomics Workbench (CGW). As the primary strategic architect for our instrument- and assay-agnostic NGS interpretation and reporting software, you will be responsible for the product’s market leadership, strategic direction, and the evolution of our global product culture. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy and Product Officer (CSPO), you will bridge the gap between high-level business vision and tactical execution. You will lead a distributed team of Product Managers and Designers, moving the organization away from a delivery-centric model toward an outcome-driven framework. This role is pivotal to Velsera’s next phase of growth as we transition our global customer base from our legacy CGW platform to our next-generation CGW+ environment.

Requirements

Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D. preferred) in Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related Life Science field. You must have a deep technical understanding of the NGS workflow and variant interpretation.
10+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing complex, data-heavy software platforms.
Demonstrated capability to apply modern AI approaches to accelerate product discovery, automate data analysis, or enhance software functionality within a clinical or scientific context.
Proven track record of managing and scaling distributed, international teams. You have a demonstrated ability to build culture and drive alignment across different time zones.
A deep-seated belief in "solving problems for customers" rather than "building features for stakeholders". You understand how to navigate the tension between short-term sales needs and long-term product health.
Exceptional ability to synthesize complex clinical and technical concepts into a clear, compelling narrative for both technical teams and executive leadership.
