About the position

The Director of Product Marketing will be the technical lead for ActiveFence's generative AI safety and automated content moderation solutions. Responsibilities include developing product messaging for technical personas in Responsible AI and Trust and Safety organizations, creating GTM content for these customers, engaging them as a spokesperson, and collaborating with sales and product teams to drive adoption. The role focuses on helping organizations leverage generative AI safely and automate content moderation at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies that position our generative AI safety and security innovations as the catalyst for content safety at scale.
  • Craft compelling stories that communicate the value and impact of our generative AI safety and security solutions to technical personas in Responsible AI and Trust and Safety organizations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities for disruption within the generative AI safety and security domain.
  • Provide relevant and actionable competitive analysis and insights to guide product positioning.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and adoption.
  • Empower Sales, Field, and Partners with enablement collateral and training materials including FAQs, demos, videos, white papers.
  • Engage business and technical audiences as a spokesperson across touch points, including events, webinars, and social media.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to align product vision and marketing strategies.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Product Marketing - must
  • 1+ year(s) experience working with AI and/or Machine Learning technologies- must
  • 1 + year(s) experience working with and/or targeting engineering and technical product management audiences
  • 4+ years experience in building technical marketing content
  • Proven experience in public speaking
