First Due’s cutting-edge Fire and EMS software solution provides an end-to-end platform for thousands of Fire and EMS agencies across North America. We’re searching for a strategic, customer-focused, and results-driven Director of Product to lead the vision, planning, and execution of First Due’s industry-leading public safety solution.

  • Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a group of modules within the First Due platform.
  • Lead a team of product managers, partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Define and execute a data-driven, compelling, future-focused product strategy aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of product managers and product experts, providing leadership and performance management throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog; ensure features are delivered on time and within scope using PM best practices and tools.
  • Partner with Client Success, Professional Services, and Support to research, translate, and deeply understand customer pain points and translate those points into product solutions.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Sales and Marketing to deliver forward-thinking, customer-focused, innovative and scalable products.
  • Build data-driven frameworks to measure success; define, track, and report on product KPIs to continuously optimize product outcomes using data and customer feedback.
  • Use cutting-edge machine learning and AI-driven technology and tools to optimize Product workflows and enhance product functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • 10+ years of SaaS cloud-based platform product management leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Govtech/public safety SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and product development best practices; JIRA experience preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of development best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a distributed team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving strategic planning processes.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and make high-impact decisions quickly.
  • Highly detail oriented and skilled in managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
