About The Position

PD is looking for an ambitious, optimistic, and curious Director of Project Management to own the performance and execution of all project work across the organization. A true leader who is accountable for driving project delivery excellence, operational discipline, and cross-functional alignment at scale. The Director will build and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers while partnering closely with Production Division Directors to ensure projects are delivered on time, in budget, and with exceptional quality. This role requires a strategic problem solver who isn’t afraid of complexity, communicates with clarity, and leans into collaboration. You will be responsible for strengthening standards, elevating PM performance, and positioning PD for sustainable, profitable growth. And of course, have fun.

  • Able to articulate ideas in both visual and verbal form to effectively convey ideas or instructions.
  • Excellent organizational, research and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Project Management, Production Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • 7-10 years managing experience in Project Management/Production Management environment/Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience supporting business operations, managing large teams, managing vendor deliverables, communicating with customers
  • Knowledge or experience with Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
  • Knowledge or experience with ERP, Production Planning Techniques, Manufacturing Processes, Inventory and Logistical execution
  • Knowledge or experience with Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge or experience with Safety and Operating Safely in Manufacturing
  • Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Strong Leader who is accountable, available and leads by example
  • Lead Project Management with clear role responsibility and accountability.
  • Develop and manage the Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Drive resource planning, capacity management and continuous improvement to meet business expectation.
  • Focused on a thoughtful approach to managing the project lifecycle.
  • ERP data management to include project metrics.
  • Performance management leveraging our HCM software
  • Work closely with the Director Leadership Team
  • Works proactively to achieve results.
  • Leverages Technical Skills to add value to project level needs.
  • Contributes to Growth and New Opportunities as SME
  • Performs other duties as assigned
