About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Director of Robotics Product Operations to lead our team in developing and delivering world-class robotics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, product development, and operations management, with a proven track record of driving innovation, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in robotics, product development, or operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of robotics, mechatronics, and automation technologies
  • Experience with product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement changes
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) preferred
  • Certifications in robotics, such as Certified Robotics Engineer (CRE) or Certified Robotics Technician (CRT)
  • Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and operations professionals to design, develop, and deliver robotics products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop product roadmaps, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, manage supply chain logistics, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to ensure high-quality products.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for robotics product operations, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
