About The Position

We are looking for a Director of Sales and Business Development to based in USA. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving new business growth, and representing ten23 health in the marketplace. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to position our company as the preferred partner for our clients.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of Sales within biopharmaceutical industry (preferably CDMO)
  • Experience with modern drug modalities (mAbs, fusion antibodies, complex proteins, ADCs, AAVs) and more complex primary packaging presentations (PFS, cartridges (for auto injectors and OBIs), etc.
  • Proven sales track record within the last 2-5 years.
  • Background in pharmaceutical project management.
  • Pleasure in doing business development and who has a track record in building new service business, preferably for a new organization.
  • A solid technical background in life sciences, understanding the pharmaceutical development process, especially (sterile) drug product development, testing and manufacturing (e.g. fill & finish).
  • Strong self-organization, able to manage many open enquiries in parallel and closing them in time; Effective in a start-up environment, with growth mindset and business acumen; and also, able to think and act outside the box.
  • Interest in a patient, people and planet-oriented organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Overall owner of our customer relationships, from awareness building to establishing loyal customer relationships
  • Create awareness in the marketplace for our company and support marketing initiatives
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities / leads
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Represent company at trade shows, conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Presenting the value and scope of quotes and proposals to clients
  • Increasing the value of current customers, while attracting new ones
  • Being an active listener, having a compelling sales personality, hungry to chase and close new business, from cold calls and inbound warm leads
  • Negotiate contracts and represent the company in steering committees
