About The Position

We are looking for a Director of Talent to join our leadership team at Chick-fil-A. This role serves as a forward-thinking partner to the Owner/Operator, helping build a winning team and ensuring the restaurant continues to grow through strong talent acquisition, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives. The Director of Talent will oversee the full lifecycle of recruiting, onboarding, team development, and HR compliance, while also helping shape the culture and employee experience throughout the organization. This individual will also lead the training team, working closely with leadership to ensure the restaurant continues developing future leaders and creating a high-performance team environment. This job is a combination of Restaurant Leadership and Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in recruiting, interviewing, and developing team members
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in hospitality, HR, or operations
  • Passion for people development and Chick-fil-A’s values
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Servant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop others

Responsibilities

  • Lead and model the Chick-fil-A Northville Mission, Vision and Core Values with guests and team members
  • Leading recruiting efforts to attract, interview, and hire high-quality team members
  • Developing long-term recruitment pipelines with colleges, job boards, and community partners
  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
  • Overseeing onboarding and orientation processes while reinforcing the restaurant’s culture and values
  • Maintaining HR documentation and compliance including I-9, W-4, and employee policies
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and ACA requirements
  • Building high-performance teams, recruiting, identifying and building a leadership bench to foster organizational growth
  • Manage a team of 50+, creating an inspiring vision, coaching and holding people accountable to high standards
  • Leading employee engagement initiatives including recognition programs, communication strategies, and development events
  • Building relationships across the leadership team to strengthen culture and organizational alignment
  • Supporting restaurant operations when needed and maintaining operational competency
