About The Position

This role is a senior leadership position focused on driving growth and engagement within a strategic partner ecosystem. The Director will work closely with sales and technical teams to recruit, enable, and align partners, creating a structured approach to account mapping, joint business planning, and territory strategy. This position requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can foster strong relationships, educate teams on partner value propositions, and drive revenue expansion across mid-market accounts. Success in this role comes from a combination of strategic thinking, sales expertise, and collaborative execution, making a direct impact on regional sales performance and partner satisfaction. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a regional or national partner sales role within IT operations, IT security, or related technology industries.
  • Proven track record in creating and managing geographic or global partner programs.
  • Experience in quota-carrying sales or business development with demonstrable results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to generate innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical, sales, business development, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships while operating independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to evangelize partner offerings and influence sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional partner sales strategies, including account mapping and joint business planning.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales leadership and partners within the Western territory.
  • Align partner activities with sales regions to maximize customer prospecting, new business acquisition, and ARR growth.
  • Educate internal sales teams on partner value propositions, coaching them to effectively collaborate with partners.
  • Drive alignment of strategic partners to high-value prospects and accounts to support large deals.
  • Monitor and support partner lifecycle activities, from profiling and recruitment to enablement and ongoing engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure partner strategies are integrated with regional sales plans.
