About The Position

The Director of People Analytics is a strategic, enterprise‑wide leader responsible for transforming workforce data into meaningful insights that drive performance, strengthen compliance, and elevate the employee experience. This role will architect InnovAge’s people analytics strategy, build predictive and diagnostic models, enhance data governance, and deliver intuitive reporting that empowers leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions. The Director is a player-coach, oversees all people analytics, including advanced modeling, operational reporting, workforce planning insights, and enterprise dashboards. This leader will partner closely with HR, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Quality, and Executive Leadership, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and actionable intelligence across the organization. This role will directly lead the People Analytics Analyst and will be responsible for building the long‑term roadmap for a scalable, high-performing analytics function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, I/O Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in people analytics, workforce analytics, or business intelligence.
  • Expertise in analytic tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and predictive modeling (Python, R, SPSS).
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex data and communicate to senior leaders.
  • Experience working with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS).
  • Proven project and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Prior experience building or leading a People Analytics function.
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated, multi-site operations.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, forecasting, and operational modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute InnovAge’s multi-year People Analytics strategy.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to ELT, HRBP leadership, and Operations leaders.
  • Translate organizational challenges into measurement frameworks and KPIs.
  • Advance adoption of predictive, proactive analytics across the enterprise.
  • Build and maintain predictive models (attrition, hotspots, quality of hire, early success).
  • Deliver executive-ready insights that drive workforce planning and operational decisions.
  • Lead development of intuitive dashboards and self-service analytics tools.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
  • Create and maintain enterprise data definitions, standards, and governance structures.
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, and Compliance to ensure secure, accurate, consistent data.
  • Implement automated monitoring to proactively identify data issues.
  • Oversee architecture and workflow design for end-to-end people data processes.
  • Own recurring enterprise reporting: headcount, turnover, staffing KPIs, compliance, etc.
  • Build standard reporting suites for centers, markets, and corporate teams.
  • Lead intake, prioritization, and service-level execution of analytics requests.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all people data outputs.
  • Manage and develop the People Analytics Analyst and future team roles.
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.
  • Strengthen data literacy across HR and operations through tools, training, and education.
  • Foster strong, collaborative partnerships across functional areas.
