About The Position

As the Director of People Systems, you will lead AlphaSense’s global People technology strategy and serve as the functional owner of Workday to support our hyper-growth. Your mission is to ensure our systems—from our core HRIS to our performance and compensation tools—are scalable, integrated, and provide a frictionless experience for our 2,500+ global employees.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in HR systems, People Technology, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • You are an accomplished People/HR systems and reporting professional with a proven track record working with Workday, Greenhouse, and Payroll systems
  • You have experience defining and improving systems and scalable processes for a global workforce of 3,000+ employees
  • You are a leader of leaders with the ability to inspire, grow, develop, and coach a team
  • You thrive in fast-paced, rapidly growing organizations
  • You are a strong communicator with the ability to drive organizational change through partnership with operational and business leadership
  • You are detail-oriented and have experience managing large, global, enterprise-wide system implementations
  • You are a pragmatic and thoughtful business partner who understands the importance of teamwork and collaboration
  • You are a skilled storyteller with the ability to turn quantitative data into a qualitative tale
  • You are a DEI champion and know how to use data to drive strategy

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the People technology roadmap and strategy
  • Act as the global functional owner for Workday, develop and execute a strategy to optimize it, and ensure seamless integrations with downstream systems
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and adoption of new tools to support AlphaSense’s growth and maturation
  • Partner across the People team to design and execute people processes (e.g., performance management, compensation, benefits, absence/leaves, employee engagement)
  • Ensure our systems establish a single source of truth by prioritizing data integrity and consistency
  • Partner with the People Operations team to audit workflows and increase efficiency, automation, predictability, consistency, and audit-readiness of our processes
  • Partner with our Payroll team on the implementation and consolidation of global payroll systems
  • Lead the HR systems integration during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless merging of disparate HR systems, databases, and processes
  • Develop systems and tools to provide robust reporting and data insights
  • Lead, grow, and develop a team as the organization continues through a period of hyper-growth
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to data security, privacy, document retention, and compliance across the organization
