About The Position

Responsible for directing, coordinating and overseeing the operation of the OMH Pharmacy Department and off-site pharmacies. Duties include financial planning, department organization, development of goals/objectives, development of policies/procedures, compliance with laws/standards/regulations, quality management, group purchasing activities, inventory management and human resource management. Also oversees drug distribution services, patient/clinical services, education and professional relationships.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent of five years of relevant management experience.
Minimum of five years of recent hospital pharmacy experience with strong clinical component.
Proven management experience in hospital/health care environment.
Familiarity with hospital purchasing and materials management systems including inventory control, group purchasing, information systems, and hospital cost containment methods.
Registered Pharmacist license in State of Washington required.
