About The Position

We are looking for a Director, Program Management leader, to join the Secure Tactical Communications organization within Mission Systems. The Secure Product Portfolio will lead the Inception program and is chartered with design and development, new product introduction and production ramp for capabilities critical to the protection of data. In this role, you will lead a team of Program Managers that are tasked with the rapid development, certification and production of critical capabilities. This role will oversee products that require accelerated development & production timelines to meet urgent customer needs, and we are seeking a leader that can lead a team in a high stakes environment. The Director, Program Management – Secure Products, develops milestones, spearhead solutions for program challenges, oversees the Profit & Loss and manages multiple important customer relationships. We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader for a Portfolio that could grow to over $1B in sales as early as next year.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Previous experience leading people
  • Experience working with U.S. Department of War (DoW) customers
  • Experience in Program Management with Profit and Loss responsibility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience briefing senior leadership (SBU and BU President Level) and external customers
  • Experience leading cross functional teams to meet customer commitments and delight our customers
  • Experience working in a high stakes environment with an accelerated development schedule and/or an aggressive production ramp
  • Experience working with DARPA and/or the NSA
  • Experience with Secure Information Systems products (such as those certified by the NSA)
  • Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Program Managers and cross functional teams that engage with US Government customers (e.g. DARPA, NSA) and related customers to deliver on our commitments
  • Profit and loss responsibility for both internally and externally funded efforts
  • Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of large and/or complex programs
  • Travel requirements up to 25%
