The American Housing Corporation is on a mission to solve America’s housing crisis through all-out production, starting with the development of rowhomes. We believe that America’s affordability crisis is fundamentally a production crisis, and that solving it requires a vertically integrated development approach: We buy land, and manufacture, install, and sell our homes directly to customers. The Role We are hiring a Director of Real Estate Development to lead the execution of the company’s real estate platform. This role will own the operational backbone of the real estate side of the company. Driving underwriting, development, and deal execution across markets. You will be building the real estate operating structure that will allow American Housing to deploy capital and build housing at national scale. You will work directly with CEO Riley Meik to translate company strategy into a scalable development pipeline. You will also partner closely with co-founder Bobby Fijan, who leads investor relationships, political engagement, and high-level real estate strategy. What Makes This Role Different Most real estate roles operate inside the traditional development model. This role helps build a new one. AHC is creating a vertically integrated housing company where development, manufacturing, and construction operate as one system. Real estate decisions directly affect factory production, logistics, and installation. The Director of Real Estate Development sits at the center of that system. You will help design the development platform that powers one of the most ambitious housing companies being built in America.
