About the position
Bartlett Regional Hospital is looking for a Director of Rehabilitation Services to join our Rehabilitation team! Be at the forefront of innovative care, empowering recovery, and transforming every day lives! The Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the planning, coordination, staffing, administration and efficient operation of the Rehabilitation Services Department and Wildflower Court Rehabilitation Department. This includes providing exemplary Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services to BRH patients and Wildflower Court patients. The Director is expected to: develop departmental objectives and budget, establish policies and procedures, coordinate employee training, maintain effective communication, coordinate coverage and training across settings, and participate in teaching and directing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating the Rehabilitation Services Department and Wildflower Court Rehabilitation Department.
- Providing exemplary Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services to patients.
- Developing departmental objectives and budget.
- Establishing policies and procedures for the department.
- Coordinating employee training and maintaining effective communication.
- Coordinating coverage and training across settings.
- Participating in teaching and directing patient care.
Requirements
- Current State of Alaska Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy License in good standing.
- Five years of clinical experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist.
- One year of supervisory experience, preferred.
- Valid driver's license, current auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation if providing patient care to Home Care Services.
