A Director of CRVA (Case Ready Value Added) Sales is responsible for the overall business management of a sales team and a segment of retail customers. The individual must have the ability to understand all facets of the business including sales, customer/market/industry dynamics, product portfolios and corresponding production processes, customer programs and partnership agreements, to drive the business forward for growth. This position is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team accountable to reach goals and operate with our customer commitment at the center of work. This position and team must maintain close collaboration with our other business segments to execute against One Tyson approach and goals. Responsibilities include management and growth of current business and development of new business opportunities through white space targeting and execution, joint business planning with key strategic customers, negotiating business agreements/contracts holistic of our business portfolio, managing team expenses and spend including T&E against annual budgets and company goals, providing input and alignment to set annual operating plans for respective business and driving team actions/goals against meeting AOP metrics, communicate critical customer information to sales leadership on a real-time basis, driving professional growth and development with individual team members through guidance in IDPs, talent mapping, and individual coaching with respective team members. Individual must lead through our RIGHT behaviors and drive spirit of continuous improvement in the team and our business approach.
