About The Position

Artsy is seeking a systems-oriented leader to own and evolve the vision of our Sales Operations Team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketplace Strategy and Operations, this role will oversee a broad scope of responsibilities supporting our sales and operations teams, including third-party systems infrastructure, data analytics, and AI-driven automations. This is a hybrid role that blends strategic leadership, management, and hands-on execution: you’ll partner closely with senior leaders to define Artsy’s sales ops strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver the roadmap and drive adoption across the organization. This is a full-time hybrid role, with in-office attendance required 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Systems, or Revenue Operations
  • You bring deep expertise in sales systems and infrastructure (CRM, data pipelines, integrations, and analytics platforms)
  • You have a strong understanding of sales motions and pipeline optimization
  • Experience migrating and consolidating systems
  • You’re familiar with AI/ML applications in Sales Operations (e.g., predictive forecasting, lead scoring, workflow automation)
  • You have 2+ years managing direct reports and/or technical contractors
  • You have strong project management and cross-functional communication skills, with proven success working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You can zoom out to communicate vision to executives and zoom in to troubleshoot details with junior team members
  • You have technical skills (e.g., SQL, Python, APIs) to support system integrations, reporting, and automation
  • You have experience with vendor management, data privacy concepts (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), and the emerging RevOps tooling landscape

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic roadmap planning and execution for Sales Operations, identifying opportunities that impact our ability to scale revenue and efficiency
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered automations and recommend use cases to increase efficiency across sales and operations
  • Build reporting dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights on sales performance, pipeline health, and operational KPIs
  • Provide documentation, training, and change management to drive adoption of new processes and tools
  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, identifying gaps, architecting solutions, and balancing tradeoffs between tech debt, new initiatives, and build vs. buy decisions
  • Evolve Artsy’s sales systems ecosystem—including CRM, data platforms, integrations, and automation tools
  • Own external tooling including vendor selection, management, and renewal conversations
  • Own go-to-market motions for new tools, including adoption planning and cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with leadership on revenue planning, forecasting, quota setting, and pipeline coverage modeling
  • Manage and mentor at least one direct report, with long-term potential to expand the team
  • Advocate for best practices in system design, governance, security, and privacy
