Requirements

Extensive experience leading complex software engineering projects with a focus on system reliability, scalability, and integration.
Proven ability to manage full software development lifecycles, including architecture, deployment, and maintenance.
Strong expertise in DevOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and observability tooling to enhance system performance and reduce operational overhead.
Demonstrated success in driving AI/ML-enabled product development and integrating agentic systems using modern programming languages.
Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration to align technology roadmaps with business goals.
Effective leadership in building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams while fostering professional growth and succession planning.
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
3 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of complex software, data, and ML systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and integration across platforms.
Oversee full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices and system health monitoring to optimize performance.
Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver AI/ML-enabled features and agentic systems for automation and decision support.
Manage engineering capacity, backlog prioritization, and cloud cost optimization to enhance velocity and reduce operational overhead.
Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering professional growth and succession planning aligned with organizational goals.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align roadmaps, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
Drive continuous improvement through innovation, risk mitigation, and effective technical decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
