Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading complex software engineering projects with a focus on system reliability, scalability, and integration.
  • Proven ability to manage full software development lifecycles, including architecture, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Strong expertise in DevOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and observability tooling to enhance system performance and reduce operational overhead.
  • Demonstrated success in driving AI/ML-enabled product development and integrating agentic systems using modern programming languages.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration to align technology roadmaps with business goals.
  • Effective leadership in building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams while fostering professional growth and succession planning.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 3 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of complex software, data, and ML systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and integration across platforms.
  • Oversee full software development lifecycle, championing DevOps practices and system health monitoring to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver AI/ML-enabled features and agentic systems for automation and decision support.
  • Manage engineering capacity, backlog prioritization, and cloud cost optimization to enhance velocity and reduce operational overhead.
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering professional growth and succession planning aligned with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align roadmaps, milestones, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, risk mitigation, and effective technical decision-making.
