Director, Supportive and Integrative Oncology Programs

About The Position

Within area of responsibility, collaborates with senior management, directors, physicians, nursing, allied health staff, patients and vendors internal and external to the health care environment to work through processes and situations. Decisions have impact on quality of services and care, fiscal results, attainment of goals and development and retention of employees. Responsible for the development, growth and adaptability of integrative and complementary programs focusing on the holistic well-being of patients and their families within the Oncology Service Line. Change leader who can continuously evaluate and refine the program and processes to enhance safety, patient experience, and quality all while improving daily operations and patient outcomes. Lead operational activities of the Oncology Integrative Programs through effective communication, administration, and implementation of best practices. Manages multiple departments, as well as designated administrative and support staff to assure cost effectiveness and achievement of goals and budgets. Plans the implementation of directives, standard policies and procedures and protocols as approved by senior management or the board of directors. Plans for growth, staffing, services, educational opportunities, and effective performance improvement in collaboration with Human Resources. Utilizes developmental planning to expand employee skills and abilities. Responsible for operational plans and fiscal management including budget development, implementation, and monitoring for multiple departments. Responsible for supporting service line mission and meeting goals and scorecard objectives utilizing a system approach. Aligns work with strategic goals. Responsible for assuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. Consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient care. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent 8 years of experience required.
5-7years experience in management, preferably health care environment.
Licensure and/or certification in medical or management related discipline.
Leadership, planning and organizational skills to manage multiple departments and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities to support and promote a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence.
Proven skills in clinical, operational and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work and process improvement
