About The Position

The Director of Technology Program Management leads Visions Management’s Technology Management division, overseeing the delivery of technology-related workplace projects while driving growth of the service line. This role is responsible for program leadership across multiple client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with a strong “client first” approach. The Director will manage a portfolio of projects including IT infrastructure implementations, technology and data center relocations, and new office launches, while also serving as a strategic advisor to clients. In addition to operational leadership, this role will support business development, account management, and service expansion, helping position Visions Management as a trusted partner in workplace technology delivery. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience managing technology projects, infrastructure programs, or workplace technology initiatives within corporate or enterprise environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant professional certifications and demonstrated experience in technology project management, infrastructure programs, or workplace technology environments may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex technology programs and multi project portfolios, coordinating cross functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across distributed locations
  • One or more relevant certifications, PMP, CAPM, CSM, SAFe, CompTIA, or comparable technology or infrastructure certifications
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure or workplace technology projects
  • Strong client relationship management and executive communication skills
  • Experience supporting business development or account growth
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong financial and operational management skills
  • Candidates must demonstrate direct experience leading workplace technology infrastructure programs, including at least two of the following project types: Corporate office technology deployments or office launches Technology relocations or corporate re-stack initiatives Workplace technology infrastructure deployments supporting office moves IT infrastructure deployment tied to construction or tenant improvements Multi-site corporate technology rollouts
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based collaboration and project management tools such as Smartsheets. Mondays, Asana, or similar
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure including networks, endpoints, platforms, and enterprise system
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate IT infrastructure and workplace technology systems
  • Familiarity with cable management, IT rack installations, and network deployment best practices, and workplace technology environments including AV systems, telecom, endpoint devices, and desktop computing environments
  • Demonstrated understanding of large scale technology deployments across distributed locations including infrastructure installation, equipment logistics, and multi site rollouts

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of technology and workplace projects including IT infrastructure, office relocations, and new office launches
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for all technology-related project delivery
  • Establish program-level schedules, milestones, and reporting frameworks
  • Ensure all projects align with Visions Management’s standards, processes, and quality expectations
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across the program portfolio
  • Develop scalable operational processes and documentation standards
  • Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies across projects
  • Serve as senior point of contact for key technology management clients
  • Build strong relationships with client leadership and key stakeholders
  • Provide strategic advisory support related to workplace technology planning and implementation
  • Lead client program reviews and executive-level reporting
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction across all engagements
  • Partner with leadership to grow the Technology Management division
  • Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts
  • Support proposal development, scoping, and pricing for new projects
  • Participate in client pitches, presentations, and business development meetings
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners and vendors to support service delivery
  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings related to workplace technology
  • Provide guidance and oversight to project managers and project teams
  • Ensure project scopes, schedules, and budgets are developed and managed appropriately
  • Review project reporting, financials, and key milestones
  • Support resolution of complex project challenges or client issues
  • Ensure all project documentation, reporting, and closeout procedures are completed
  • Oversee vendor strategy and relationships across technology-related services
  • Ensure vendors meet Visions Management’s standards of performance
  • Support sourcing and onboarding of vendors for IT, cabling, furniture, AV, and related services
  • Negotiate vendor scopes and ensure alignment with project goals
  • Ensure all project management activities adhere to Visions Management policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate data within project management systems
  • Track and report on key performance indicators for the technology management division
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and delivery methods
