-Duties: This position is responsible for marketing strategy, planning, allocation and campaign management across channels. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, Creative and Brand, this position will work collaboratively with the Sr. Creative Director to create synergy between creative and content, and to ensure that planning and allocation synch with overall TCM and FIlmStruck brand objectives. Turner Classic Movies and FilmStruck are two brands defined by their expert curation, and as such the Marketing & Editorial group supports multiplatform content strategy and fulfillment in support of all programming, activations, and brand businesses and extensions. Therefore, this position requires experience in brand and content marketing (to support core fans of the linear network and established activations) as well as performance marketing (to launch and grow new businesses, including SVOD services such as FilmStruck), and the successful candidate should have film knowledge in addition to expertise in managing integrated marketing communications and broad awareness campaigns (leveraging owned, cross, and paid media). Experience in determining KPIs, refining data and analytics, creating custom reports and refining ROI are crucial.

Responsibilties:
Marketing (60%):
- Identify marketing priorities for TCM by leading annual network marketing/ editorial calendar planning, macro prioritization of campaigns/messages for all needs (programming, brand, retail, event, digital).
- Manage internal team and external vendors to determine key campaign messages, create communications/cross-channel media plans for each priority campaign including utilization of owned (on-air, digital, social, activation, custom print), cross, OOH and performance media, and through effective collaboration/ coordination with PR.
- Work closely with data analytics and research to determine key target audiences and key messaging for various campaigns.
- Develop strategy and budget to grow performance marketing efforts in support of TCM revenue businesses.
- Work closely with Turner Media Group and Turner Data Cloud on targeting, performance ROI, SEM and SEO.
- Create fandom, onramp and other awareness strategies, and develop campaigns and tactics for growing reach, brand health and engagement.
- Work closely across departments and divisions to ensure collaboration, clarity and proper execution of campaigns across communication channels.
- Work with the Marketing and Editorial group to continually refine process and project management platforms/tools.
- Build capabilities for the network to more efficiently report & analyze media allocation, and better determine platform-specific ROI and effective media mix to achieve campaign KPIs.
- Manage marketing and editorial budget.

Social Media Management (25%):
- Lead all social media efforts, including cross, organic & paid campaigns.
- Create social strategies for cross & paid efforts, and refine organic strategy by overseeing the social media manager & specialist.
- Oversee creative development in support of organic and performance social media campaigns.
- Develop a keen understanding of, and appreciation for, TCM and FilmStruck's passionate and active fan base, and finds ways to empower them to proactively lead brand voice and UGC development.

Editorial/Content Fulfillment (15%):
- Develop editorial strategy and manage human & financial resources to fulfill editorial in support of TCM linear, digital/web, database, activations, licensed businesses and other extensions.
- Manage internal editorial team (directly), with oversight of sizeable freelance team (indirectly).
- Maintain highest level of quality and expertise in all copy, keeping with TCM and FilmStruck's reputation as the authorities in film, and ensure a consistent voice across platforms and experiences.

Qualifications: Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree required, with preference for graduate degree and/or degree in marketing, communications.
- 8-10 years acting in marketing, especially performance, content and brand marketing.
- A history of successfully managing high-level, integrated marketing messaging, writing and/or communications.
- Literacy in media formats and emerging digital platforms.
- Extensive experience managing direct reports and independent contractors in support of marketing.
- Planning skills using standard word processing tools (Word, Excel) is required, with a preference for experience using more advance project management tools.
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills, multi-tasking, and communication skills required.
- Knowledge and interest in classic film is required.
