About The Position

Join our team as a Fire Cleaning & Restoration Technician, where you’ll balance hands‑on physical work with documentation tasks to support high-quality restoration services and project coordination. What You’ll Do Field & Physical Restoration Work Perform fire and smoke damage cleaning in homes and businesses including cleaning, fogging, packing, and organizing Clean structural materials, contents, walls, ceilings, and surfaces affected by soot Lift, move, and pack out contents safely and efficiently Operate cleaning tools and equipment Assist with deodorization and environmental cleaning procedures Clerical & Organizational Work Photograph, inventory, and document contents Record cleaning steps, materials used, and job progress in SERVPRO software Organize contents for pack-out, storage, and return Communicate with crew leads and office staff to ensure accurate job files Maintain clean, organized workspaces and supply areas Why You’ll Love Working Here We value precision, empathy, teamwork, and attention to detail—qualities that make an incredible difference in fire restoration. Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
  • Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
  • IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
  • Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
  • Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
  • Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
  • Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up
  • Perform fire and smoke damage cleaning in homes and businesses including cleaning, fogging, packing, and organizing
  • Clean structural materials, contents, walls, ceilings, and surfaces affected by soot
  • Lift, move, and pack out contents safely and efficiently
  • Operate cleaning tools and equipment
